2022 Arkansas Youth Expo Angus Show

Angus exhibitors led 32 entries at the 2022 Arkansas Youth Expo Angus Show, October 4 in Fayetteville, Ark. Lydell Meier, Clinton, Tenn., evaluated the entries before naming champions.

CCC Blackbird 152 won grand champion owned female at the 2022 Arkansas Youth Expo Angus Show, Oct. 4 in Fayetteville, Ark. EXAR Forever Lady 1709 won reserve grand champion owned female at the 2022 Arkansas Youth Expo Angus Show, Oct. 4 in Fayetteville, Ark. Jaci Whittmore, Berryville, Ark., owns the April 2021 daughter of EXAR Express Way 1079B. She also claimed fourth overall. Lydell Meier, Clinton, Tenn., evaluated the 32 entries. 2022 Annual Meeting

At the Arkansas Angus Associations Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet held in February President Sam Haley presented our new American Angus Association Regional Manager, Mr. Will Harsh with the Arkansas Traveler Award. The Northeast Arkansas Angus Association volunteered to have the certificate framed and matted. Together at the Spring NEAAA Sale held in March, President Haley along with NEAAA Vice President Dickie Smith presented the finished product to "Traveler" Will Harsh.


2022 Field Day


2020 Annual Meeting

On Saturday February 22, 2020 the Annual Arkansas Angus Association Meeting and Awards Banquet was held at Eat My Catfish in Conway. Will Harsh with the American Angus Association was on hand to give updates for the industry. President Sam Haley presented Will with the Arkansas Traveler Award and welcomed Will to Arkansas and the Assocation. Stephen Mahan was presented the Presidents Special Appreciation Award for hosting the 2019 Arkansas Angus Field Day at Mahan Angus. President Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Dr. Steve and Marsha Copeland and to Angie Sutherland. The Top Sellers from the 2019 Sharing The Success Sale were also recognized. Top Bull Consignor: Sulphur Valley Angus Ranch. Top Pair and Top Female: Hunt Angus. Was a great night of fellowship, good food and some nice door prized form the AAA.


2019 Annual Meeting

In January 2019 the Arkansas Angus Association held its annual meeting in Conway. We enjoyed good food and fellowship with all who was able to attend. President Sam Haley presented awards to some members who are appreciated so much and even managed to get a group photo. The following received recognition: Luke Foster; 2018 Field Day Host, Tyler Copeland; Distinguished Service Award, Darrell Tunstill; Past President, Katy Tunstill; Distinguished Service Award, Darrell Tunstill and Tyler Copeland; Top Consigners.
